Information About Me
I graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Most of the programming I did in the course of my studies was in C and C++.
In 2018, I got a job at Internet Brands. There I learned PHP and got more experience with SQL, and a bit of practice with JS, HTML, and CSS.
I do enjoy working on servers and databases on the backend, but I find an unparalleled sense of sastifaction when implementing appealing user-facing applications. Combining clean style and intuitive functionality to create software that customers want to use is a truly fulfilling endeavor.
In my free time, when I'm not playing games, I like to dabble in game development. I started with simple browser-based games and Game Dev Studio. Then I moved on to learning Unreal Engine and Unity, which utilize C++ and C#, respectively. While the technologies used differ from web development, there is plenty of conceptual overlap, and it's another opportunity to express creativity and craft enjoyable experiences for users.
